Chapter 2
(All head to Pa’s)
Keria: I wonder if Pa has our weapons done?
Sam: Not for sure. (Sucking on a lollipop.)
Keria: Where do you get all this candy from?
Sam: I get it from one of the caravans.
Dylan: You mean the Bird Caravan?
Sam: Yeah.
Keria: I see.
Sam: (Pulls out a sucker out of her side pocket.) Here
Keria: Thank you, Sam. Takes the sucker and smiles.)
Sam: No problem. (Smiles.) *She’s not to bad once you listen to her.*
(Arrives at Pa’s place.)
Pa: I see your back. (Cleaning his hands in the sink.)
Megan: Well of course.
Pa: I don’t have your weapons done yet if hats what you want. But I do have silencers for your pistols over there. (Points at the red crate.)
Daniel: (Pulls the top off the crate.)
Nathaniel: Why are they red?
Pa: Oh yeah. They are red for our clan.
(All pick up one and puts them on their pistols.)
Pa: Good, now go do something will I work on your guys guns.
(All leave.)
Mara: Why don’t you show us this cannon?
Dylan: Sure.
(Heads towards where the cannon is stationary.)
Dylan: We have enough energy tags right?
(All check yep.)
Information for the audience: Energy tags are special paper that can be used for many things. They can be used for healing, bombs, traps, poison, and upgrading a gun by giving it energy.
David: I’m hungry.
Sam: We will go get lunch after we see the canon.
Lilly/Rose: It’s huge!
(Arrives at the cannon.)
David: that thing is huge!
Dylan: Our nation has been working on it for about a year.
Megan: Does it work?
Dylan: Ummm… We really can’t test it but it does fire.
Keria: So we are the test dummies for it. (Glances at him then the cannon.)
Nathaniel: Yay.
Dylan: I have faith it will work.
Megan: It better or we are screwed.
David: Can we go eat?
Dyalan: Yeah. Lets go get some lunch.
(Heads towards the lunch tent.)
Mara: Isn’t the Crow village on the other side of our island?
Dylan: Yes.
Mara: I know their village allies with us, but that nation scares me (Shivers.)
Dylan: It does snow there. We are picking up someone up their when we arrive their.
Keria: (Hides under her scarf.)
Dylan: We will have to conceal Keria maybe when we get to the Crow village.
Sam: Why do we have to conceal Keria?
Dylan: The Crow village does not like Blue Jays or Mocking bird clans. With Keria being a Blue Jay and having blue hair, and blue eyes.
Keria: I’m a target to them.
Megan: We have your back, Blue Cardinal.
Dylan: One day I hope that all the nations can be together.
(Arrives at the cafeteria.)
David: Food! (Runs into the cafeteria. Runs into a big dude with his lunch. Falls to the ground.) Owwww.
Wilson: Seems like someone wants to pick a fight.
David: Uhhh no… Sorry…
Wilson: (Cracks his knuckles.)
Nathaniel: (Runs up to help David.) You’ll have to go through me first.
Wilson: Fine by me.
Nathaniel*Crap*
Sam: (Hits Wilson in the back of the neck.) Night.
Wilson: (Falls to the ground.)
Sam: (Helps David up.)
David: Thanks sis.
Sam: (Nods.)
Dylan: I’m going to go something at my house. Keria: I better fix it before you burn down the house.
Dylan: (Sighs.) Good idea.
(Leaves the cafeteria)
Keria: Do you think we will make it to the Island?
Dylan: Maybe, the Blue Jays are strong that for sure.
Keria: Yeah I know.
Dylan: We will just have to hope and see.
Keria: Isn’t your cousin coming back to day?
Dylan: Maybe.
Keria: Yeah. He got to go a vacation.
Dylan: Yeah, hopefully he is doing alright.
(Arrives at Dylan’s house.)
Keria: I’ll start cooking.
Dylan: I’ll help.
(Both lay down their gear on a table.)
Keria: You are right, we are caring light.
Dylan: Knives, shurikens, ammo, and our guns.
Keria: At least you can make fire grenades.
Dylan: Yeah, but you can make spike grenades.
Keria: thing is scary as heck.
Dylan: Just don’t drop it.
Keria: I didn’t mean to drop it last time.
Dylan: I know.
(Both start cooking.)
Sfx: Sizzle.
Nick: I’m home.
Dylan: Hey cuz.
Nick: What did you do, ask her out?
Dylan/Keria: (Blushes.)
Dylan: No… (Blushes.)
Nick. What are you cooking?
Keria: Veggies and meat.
Dylan: We are making shish-ka-bobs.
Nick: Yummy!
(All sit down and eat.)
Nick: So how are you Keria?
Keria: Well.
Nick That’s good.
Dylan: How was your vacation cuz?
Nick: Good. I got some stuff will I was there for you two.
Dylan: I see.
Nick: (Gets into his bag and pulls out a cross bow.) Here you go Keria.
Keria: thanks! (Takes the blue bow.)
Nick: No problem. (Gets in his bag.)
Dylan: That’s a big bag.
Nick: Tell me about it. (Pulls out another crossbow.)
Dylan: Awesome! (Takes the red crossbow.)
Nick: Figured you like it. (Smiles.)
Keria: Lets go try them out back.
Dylan: Yeah!
(Runs out back.)
Nick: *Good thing the arrows can’t go through the logs. Well I don’t think.*
Dylan/Keria: (Pulls the pump on the underneath of it and loads the arrow.)
Keria: So cool.
(Both aim for the logs 60 yards away.)
Nick: *At least they know what they are doing.*
(Fires the arrows.)
(Hits the logs piercing it three quarters through it.)
Nick: *What kind of arrows did I buy again?*
Dylan: These things are feather crossbows.
Keria: Strong and deadly.
Nick: Yeah, there is a button on the side that compounds them.
Keria/Dylan: (Presses the button. Body of it slides in and the pulley arms un stretch and compound. Then puts it behind them.)
Dylan: And light.
Nick: (Throws a poach to each of them.) These are pull arrows. They can be pulled to the perfect to that crossbow. They are shorted down for portability.
Dylan: Awesome.
(Walks into the house and puts the poach on there belts.)
Dylan: Are you joining us in the treasure hunt?
Nick: Yes, I already dropped my gun off at Pa’s and I got a CZ75.
Dylan: Nice.
Nick: Oh! Pa said he would have our guns done tomorrow.
Keria: That’s good.
Nick: Our guns are Solar Eclipse guns right?
Keria: Yes, our guns got solar Eclipsed a little after I came here.
Nick: What do they do again?
Keria: (Sigh.) The Solar Eclipse enhances our guns abilities and functions and helps link bullet clashes.
Nick: Oh yeah.
Dylan: You forgot everything will you were on vacation?
Nick: No.
Dylan/Keria: (Sighs.)
Nick: Oh yeah!
Dylan: What?
Nick: I got weapons for your squad.
Are they Solar Eclipse?
Nick: No.
Keria: Then what are they?
They are Lunar Eclipsed.
Dylan: I see. Very tricky and hard to get them.
Nick: Yeah, lets go find the Fire Cardinals.
(All nod and leave.)
(Walks to the basketball court.)
Nick: Wonder if they will remember me? (Laughs.)
Dylan: I don’t see why not.
Keria: (Plays with the bow.)
Nick: True.
Dylan: You must love weapon shopping.
Nick: Well the Cardinal City is huge and has many shops and buildings.
Dylan: To bad I couldn’t go.
Nick After the treasure hunt we can go.
Dylan: Well, I’m taking everybody with me.
Nick: Sounds good.
(Arrives at the basketball court.)
David/ Daniel: (Playing basketball)
(The rest sitting.)
Nick: hey guys! (Waves.)
Lilly/Rose: Nick! (Runs to Nick.)
Nick: Hey. How’s basketball?
David: tiring.
Nick: I can tell. So has your bullet clash training?
Dylan: They’ve been doing well.
Nick: Did they open the third step to it?
Dylan: Yep, they are really good. (Smiles at them.)
Nick: Good, I brought you guys new weapons. (Opens up the bag.)
Sam: Early Christmas. (Laughs.)
Nick: (Pulls out a P90 and a AR-57) Here you go Lilly and Rose. (Hands them the guns.)
Lilly: Grabs the AR-57.
Rose: (Grabs the P90.)
Lilly: What are they?
Nick: They are top fed 5.7mm submachine guns.
Rose/Lilly: Awesome.
Nick: (Hands Sam a CZ Scorpion Evo3A1.)
Sam: Thanks Nick.
Dylan: (Slaps Nick on the back.) So are you going to ask her out? (Slugs his arm.)
Keria: (Laughs.) *Silly boys.*
Nick: Here you go Daniel. (Tosses a Calico M960.)
Danial: Thanks. (Catches it.)
Nick: Mara, Marisa, and Megan here. (Pulls out a ump and hands it to Mara.)
Mara: Thanks.
Nick: (Hands Marisa a MP5A4.)
Marisa Thank you.
Nick (Unfolds the Vector.) Here you go Megan.
Nick Two more. (Grabs a Spectre and hands it to David.
David: Thanks dude.
Nick: No problem. Tosses a Famae SAF200 to Nathaniel.
Nathaniel: Awesome Thanks.
Nick: Hope these will help us find the treasure.
Dylan: They will but I have to go and order ammo for them.
Keria: You hate paper work?
Dylan: Yes… Very much…
Nick; Will I turned in a order sheet when I got to the gate of the base.
Dylan: Thank goodness.
(All laughs.)
Nathaniel: How did you two get a crossbow?
Keria: nick gave them to us.
Dylan: Yep. (Pulls his out.)
Sam: Wait, will we have time to train with these new weapons.
Dylan: Hmmm… The race began for the Island in three days, so that leaves two days to train and a day for rest.
Davis: Interesting.
Dylan: For now, learn how to take care of you guy’s new weapons and stuff.
All but Keria and Nick: Yes Sir!
Dylan: Don’t call me Sir even though I’m a few ranks hire.
Keria: I’m in the Medical/Fire Cardinal so I’m the same rank.
Nick: I’m the same rank also. (Slugs Dylan.)
Dylan: Yeah, but I’m better. (Slugs him back.)
Nick: You sure about that? (Head locks Dylan.)
Dylan: Yep. (Kicks Nick’s feet from under him and escapes.)
Nick: Owwww…
Dylan: I win.
Keria: (Laughs.) *He’s cute when he is happy.* (Blushes. Hides under her scarf.)
(Nick and Dylan wrestling.)
Sam: Hey, Keria.
Keria: Yeah?
Sam: What do you think of Nick and Dylan?
Keria: Lets see. (Pulls her scarf down.) Nicks very nice and Shows a lot of respect.
Sam: Yeah, I guess. What about Dylan?
Dylan was my first friend and the first one to teach me and care for me… He also nice and keeps me company.
Sam: You like him?
Keria: Well he is my friend so yeah.
Sam: No, I mean like love.
Keria: Ummmm, Maybe…
Sam: It’s cool just keep the bond strong.
Keria: Yeah!
(Dylan lands in front of Keria.)
Dylan: Owwww… (Gets up.) I won’t loose! (Puts his goggles on and runs at Nick.)
Nick: Bring it on cuz. (Stands ready)
Dylan: <Vermilion Cardinal mode.> (Eyes slit with a three triangles in a triangle formation around slit.) Rawr!
Information for the audience: The clans of birds into a mode to help them see and enhance their skills. The first stage will give them ability to slow done time. The second stage will help with blocking and the third stage is to predict moves.
